China and Malaysia Extend Mutual Visa Waiver Policy
The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of Malaysia issued a joint statement on deepening and enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership and building a China-Malaysia community of destiny. It mentioned that China agreed to extend its visa-free policy for Malaysian citizens until the end of 2025, and as a reciprocal arrangement, Malaysia will extend its visa-free policy for Chinese citizens until the end of 2026. The two leaders welcomed the continuation of consultations on mutual visa waiver agreements to facilitate the entry of citizens of the two countries into each other’s countries.
